Open Culture is a Community Interest Company with the mission to increase the profile of and engagement with arts and culture on Merseyside.
Open Culture is led by Charlotte Corrie and Christina Grogan. We have been active since late 2007, and prior to becoming an independent community interest company we were part of the Liverpool Culture Company for Liverpool European Capital of Culture 2008.
Culture is for everyone and the arts provide the means to express ourselves and connect with others in ways that other forms of communication can’t achieve. We believe arts and culture should lie at the heart of all Social Policy, as they improve quality of life and wellbeing for individuals and communities in terms of Regeneration, Health, Education and Crime Reduction, as has been proved time and again.

Hi Kim
I’m afraid we’re all booked up for the event this weekend.
We have pencilled in the dates for 2012 as 17 & 18th December, which are to be confirmed closer to the time. To hear news please follow us on our social network pages: Twitter @_openculture and Facebook http://www.facebook.com/OpenCultureLiverpool
You should also join our Events Mailing List and make sure you tick the ‘Creative Opportunities’ box to ensure you receive the right updates. Adding info@culture.org.uk to your safe senders list will help prevent our messages landing in your spam or junkmail folder.
Thanks – hope you can make the event!
Can i get a around in a wheel chair or not
Hi Kevin – yes you can. St George’s Hall is fully accessible. Entrance is via the Heritage Centre (street level entrance facing Queen Sq bus station) where you will see signage directing you to the lift. There is also a welcome desk where there will be staff to help direct visitors to the venue.
