Lucy Hopping makes very cute patchwork animals made from a variety of patterned, fluffy and metallic fabrics. And she’ll be one of 112 (!) artists and makers selling their creations at the Winter Arts Market at St George’s Hall, 10am-5pm Liverpool on 27th November 2010.
“I can personalise them for the customer by embroidering a name onto the tummies – these have proved very popular for new babies and children as special gifts. I have also had a number of comissions using customers own fabrics that have special meanings which become modern heirlooms which I enjoy doing”
Lucy also makes knitted toys and felt characters as brooches and keyrings and especially for the Winter Arts Market she’s busy making Christmassy decorations and Christmas cards with felt and wool.
Lucy’s stall is bound to put big smile on your face whether you’re a big softy or not!
